Bottom Pub Danesmoor

The Parkhouse Hotel, better known locally as the Bottom Pub. The pub stood at the bottom of Danesmoor just before the old bus turning ring.

The Parkhouse Hotel came to a sad end in 21st January 2014 when it was totally destroyed by fire in the early hours.

The shell of the building stood until early 2017 when it was finally demolished to make way for new homes.
