Ashover is also well known for its annual show (Ashover Show) that is held in the town every August
Ashover is a small village in Derbyshire in the Amber Valley. Standing between Chesterfield to the North and Matlock South. The village has a long history to Saxon times. The village was important to quarrying and lead mining and once had its own railway, The Ashover Light Railway
