About Clay Cross Today
We have all seen Clay Cross suffer over the years from the loss of industry closure of the mines and destruction of Clay Cross town centre.
The town has become run down since the early 80s with extremely high unemployment the closure of Public Houses and other large business. The Covid pandemic in 2020/22 halted the progress of development in the town. Let’s now hope Clay Cross can continue to look up for the future and will once again thrive and become a better place to live and work.
